To create and develop a brand identity and materials for The Bird of Prey Trail”
The Outer Hebrides is a stronghold for several of Scotland’s most iconic predators where vast open vistas provide fantastic opportunities to watch them in a spectacular environment.
The Outer Hebrides Bird of Prey Trail is a self guided journey linking 11 locations and two ferry journeys across the 130 mile long Archipelago from Barra in the south to Ness at the Northern tip of Lewis.
Bright Brands developed a striking identity for the trail, influenced by the graphic style of the Outer Hebrides master brand.
A range of collateral, from a print and downloadable trail leaflet, to posters and wayfinding markers reflect the individual personality of the bird of prey brand yet sit within the graphic style of other Outer Hebrides trails.
The wayfinding markers were made from cast iron materials that turned a rich orange colour when exposed to the rough and rugged island weather.
